It's July already?

Hello ladies! It's hard to believe that it's already July. The summer is flying so quickly for me and my family. I pray that yours has been blessed and that you have found time to carve out to experience our God in the scriptures. Honestly, there have been days when I'm motivated and disciplined to make the time to meet our Lord. And then there are those days when I've reluctantly read, or not read and yet our Lord remains ever faithful. I'm so glad that He never changes and neither does His love for me and you!

So we'll be meeting together on Saturday, July 12 at 8:30AM. As a quick reminder we'll be discussing Chapters 7 and 10 in depth. But should you have other questions about other sections, I'll leave time at the end for us to discuss those other topics. In June we split into smaller groups. This time I'd like for us to all meet together in a larger circle and I will lead our time of discussion. I know we could all benefit from hearing each other's insights.

Kindly let me know if you are NOT planning on coming in July so we can be sure to have enough chairs for all of us.

As always, feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.

Praying for you as you seek our Lord!

Let's jump into the DEEPENd of the pool...

Hello ladies! So you've always wondered what it would be like to develop the discipline of studying God's word daily. What does that look like exactly? Is it possible? Do I really have time to do study it everyday? Come get your feet wet as we discover God's timeless truths for our life today from excerpts from the book of Hebrews.

Who: Women who love God's word already and women who would like to develop a love for God's word.

What: This Bible study is for those who consider themselves in the Deepen level of their spiritual walk. We will have assigned readings to be completed before our monthly gatherings and we will follow a very simplistic three question method (What is this passage about? What do I learn from this passage? How can I apply what I learned to my life?) Our time together will consist of a little bit of worship, prayer, small group discussion, and a short time of teaching and encouragement.

When: We will meet once a month on Saturday mornings from 8:30 - 10:30AM. Childcare is not provided but we figure children would enjoy a little 'daddy time'. The Saturdays are: June 7, July 12, and August 2.

Where: Gateway Community Church, Kids Quest Building, upstairs, Room A (Elementary Room).

Why: God's word is alive! And when you study it and apply it to your life it will blow you away how much it can bless your life even today. Knowing God more means you will love Him more and more and you will in turn grow into a greater blessing to your friends and loved ones.

So if you're interested, kindly email me, Raquel at dishinger@earthlink.net to inform me of your interest. I look forward to getting to know you and our Lord better together!

Prayerfully yours!
Raquel
